Dr. Spero Theodorou is an experienced and talented plastic surgeon with a practice based on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Dr. Theodorou provides a full range of customized plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery solutions to enhance your looks. Dr. Theodorou is the section editor for liposuction for the prestigious Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Journal.

Dr. Theodorou strives to provide his patients with body enhancements they have always dreamt about, with fast recovery, minimal scarring, and the latest in technology. He is particularly well known for his unique blepharoplasty procedure called Smartbleph, a new and improved method of upper eyelid rejuvenation. Developed by Dr. Theodorou and his associate plastic surgeon at bodySCULPT^®, Smartbleph is remarkable for its simplicity and precision. The Smartbleph procedure utilizes the extremely effective Smart Skin laser by Cynosure for tightening the tissues around the eyes and removing excess upper eyelid skin. Dr. Theodorou works with an amazing staff that goes the extra mile to make sure each patient's individual needs are met.

Born to a Greek father and a Colombian mother, Dr. Theodorou started his training as Research Fellow for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He studied at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, and the Monmouth Medical Center/Hanhemann University in Long Branch, New Jersey. He returned to Chicago to continue his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center at Rush University. Dr. Theodorou completed his training in New York at NYU's prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital on an aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship. Dr. Theodorou runs bodySCULPT^®, a leading plastic surgery practice in NYC.
